TCS Kindergarteners Graduate in an Unconventional Way
March 21, 2020
Kindergarteners were in for a treat on Graduation Day. Rather than cancel Graduation or conduct a virtual ceremony, Trinity Christian School decided to take an unconventional approach: a Graduation Day Parade.
On Thursday, May 21, Trinity carried out its a Graduation plan that included a motorcade and an outdoor, open air ceremony. Trinity Families from across Coweta County decorated their vehicles in support of their graduates.
The parade route started at GO Church in Sharpsburg, and continued along Highway 34, and onto the Trinity campus, where dozens of supporters and onlookers spread out across campus to celebrate. The motorcade included an escort from the Coweta County Sheriff’s Department and the Coweta Fire Department.
Students and their families remained in their vehicles, and tuned into 98.7 FM to hear a live broadcast of the ceremony.
Trinity’s very own Drum Corp performed, and the audience participated in a time of worship and prayer.
This year, 63 Kindergarten graduates will move on to 1st grade. Congratulations Lions! Job well done!
